My New Toy

Jon bought this for me yesterday....I am in love! Isaiah loves it as well. It's extremely comfortable and you can sit the baby in it in many different positions. If any of you are thinking about getting a baby carrier...I highly suggest this one! It's called an Ergo Baby Carrier. I bought it at Bo Bebe in Calgary.

Yay for Babies!!

Isaiah Darrell Kehler joined our family February 6th at 5:13am. He weighs 8lb 6oz, and was 21" long. The delivery went well. It was extreemly quick (which was good because I did it without so much as a tylenol). I started having contractions at 10pm Tuesday night. They were tolerable and 10 minutes apart for quite a long time. Then all of a sudden at 3am I was sitting on the living room floor, had a contraction and felt Isaiah moving downwards...kinda freaky...6 minutes later it happened again. Needless to say, Jon packed the kids into the car very quickly and 10 minutes later we were dropping them off on Jon's mom and dad's doorstep (which is normally a 25 minute drive). When we got to the hospital (at about 3:30) my contactions were back to 10 minutes apart and I was 6 cm dialated. The Dr. arrived at 5am and burst my membranes, I was 8 cm dialated at this point. She left the room only to be hauled back in literally seconds later because Isaiah was on his way out. 5:13am we were snuggling him in our arms. It was Quick but certainly NOT painless.
I'm being summoned by a hungry boy so I'll have to post pictures tomorrow.
