Here I sit. With a bucket on one side of me and a drink on the other not sure what to do, but I had to get away from the view of my room from my bed. Yesterday around supper time I started feeling achy, my back hurt, my stomach hurt, you get the picture. I have been attacked by the flu virus, actually everyone in my family except for Brielle is being attacked by it. Last night Jon and I ended up making a trip to the hospital because my throwing up made my body go into fits of contractions. We tried to wait it out, fully expecting that it wasn't going to be anything and they'd just send us home. 4-5 hours later Adam's at our house and Jon and I are on our way to the hospital because I was getting constant contractions that were now 2-3 minutes apart. As we predicted, we were sent home and I was told that I was just really dehydrated and needed to drink a bunch then they should go away. Which they did after another few hours. The puking however, never stopped. Jon was fine until a few hours ago, and Micah woke up sick this morning. Thankfully Micah hasn't been puking, he just slept ALL morning long and when he was awake would beg us to snuggle him. Now our very sweet 4 year old is basically babysitting our 2 year old. Jon and I were both confined to our bed (it's the closest to the bathroom) while I heard Micah saying "Mommy, I'm all done" (he was sitting at the table eating lunch) and then I promptly heard Brielle say "You need to ask me if you can get down". I just smiled and let her take care of her little brother. Thank the Lord for independent children, who don't get into trouble when they're left to fend for themselves for awhile.
Anyways, it's been almost 24 hours since I was first attacked and I'm starting to feel human again. Hopefully I haven't just jinxed myself.
